Digital Technology.

How has your use of Digital technology developed over the two years, and effected the outcome of your products?

- We have advanced over the two years from our children's film to our thriller as we got the hang of Final cut and got used to what tools did what and how they can be used.

 - Our children films was our first time with Final cut therefore our work was quite basic and simple with just techniques such as fades and long transitions 


 - Photoshop was always one of the hardest technologies to use as we were all beginners and wasn't straight forward but over the two years we improved as we experimented with our photos and advertisements compared to when we used it in our thriller for the fonts.

- The Internet was a very common technology we used to research our ideas. Over the 2 years we progressed with using it as we used many sites to gather research from such as youtube and google which helped with our outcome of our video.

 - Another thing we used the internet for was social networking sites to contact the soundtrack's official artist. Doing this improved our music video from our first video as we got actual information from the artist which showed we used put extra effort into our research.

 - We used blogger to record our research and planning. This developed our work as our music video compared to our children's film we  used the website to gather information such as pictures to explain what we where trying to say and uploaded videos for inspiration. By the end of the two years we were able to use Blogger for it's full use.

- We used garage band in our children's film and thriller but we found garage band more of a challenge the second time as it was hard to get the music to fit with the genre but having used it before for our children's film it helped make it easier.
